Show us your stainless-steel watches with gold hardware
So this may sound obscure, but I think the watches in my collection that have stainless-steel cases and gold-toned markers are my favorite. I think the gold color just pops more on a steel background than matching steel hardware. Here are a few of mine - all keepers! My first ever vintage watch: My 2937 36mm cal 267 daily wearer: My prized Constellation:
Watches you spotted in TV shows/movies
Looked through our older threads and saw that we had a thread on watches that featured PROMINENTLY in movies and a thread specific to Omegas, but didn’t find exactly what I was looking for. I’ll kick this off with: A cartier Tank on Discovery of Witches, engraved on the rear “To Phillipe 1922.”
New Member checking in and asking 2998-1 advice
Hi everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I’m Matt, and although I’m still relatively new to the world of watches, I’ve always had a genuine interest in them. Definitely something i inherited from my late father, who was a keen watch enthusiast himself. I’m looking forward
Tissot Navigator Chronograph 45.501 1970s
Hello OF, Today for sale is an honest and all original Tissot automatic chronograph from the early 1970s; The dial The non-symetrical black dial with its 2 white subdials, white framed date window, white/black hour and minutes hands, and quite vivid orange/yellow chrono hands are quite appealing to my eyes.

Omega constellation opinion
Hello everyone, I’m Yami, a new Omega enthusiast for the past 2 years. I have a small but cool collection, and I recently acquired this watch: An Omega Constellation that doesn’t seem to be original. Just for context: I’ve been servicing my own watches for about a year now, and through practice
Omega Schumacher Legends: Are Non-Limited Models Rarer?
Hello everyone. I’m new to the forum, and I’d like to share a production theory I’ve been investigating concerning the Omega Speedmaster Michael Schumacher Legend collection. I own the red-dial Schumacher Legend, reference 3506.61.00, and became curious about how many were actually manufactured

40mm Longines Caliber 15 Chronograph, Stainless Steel, Reference 3205
Up for sale is a pristine ref. 3205 40mm caliber 15 Longines chronograph in stainless steel. This is one of the very finest examples I’ve ever seen. The caliber 15, based on the Valjoux 22GH, was an interesting transitional movement seen only for a few years in the mid 1930’s before the
Your Best Watch Pictures
Let’s see’em guys. As Pat Benatar said “hit me with your best shot”. (I’m such an 80’s nerd sometimes ::shy:: ) I’ll throw out a few to start. This was shot free hand - no tripod with the watch on my wrist. The light in my bay window is pretty good for catching the mother of pearl dial

Is scamming common on this forum
Hey do people try to scam forum members on Omega forums, is it a thing? So I have a couple wanted adds for watch parts and got this private message today. The thing that seems off is the member is new with zero posts zero likes. See screenshot below. So is my instincts right? Thanks for the help.
Books and Reference Books
Omega Forums is pretty rich in posts about Omega and other brand reference books, but I can’t help but wonder if a thread that is a kind of a book clearing house might not be helpful. When I was looking for a thread featuring general horology books I came across a post by chipsotoole at https://omegaforums.net/threads/antique-watch-horology-books.126176/ who was describing some of his more interesting finds at a small auction house: a fake Rolex, and some 18th century horology titles... Would it worth to buy 166.002
Hi, I was looking on a local trading website, and saw this 166.002 for 450 USD. Even though I have relatively knowledge on watches, never bought an antique one. Dial seemed super nice, and I can maybe only change the glass to keep it affordable. Does it makes sense to buy or at least check it out?
Omega Speedmaster Missions Patch thread for Gemini Apollo Skylab Watches
No thread yet i could find for this rare series of watches from 1998 showing all the NASA Missions so i post my New Arrival and hope you join in. I think these deserve more love and attention as only 150 pieces or so per Mission were available for sale, except for the Apollo 13 one from 1995. My new watch is the Omega Speedmaster Apollo 15 ref 3597.18 In 1997, as a tribute to 40 years of NASA missions, Omega released a collection of 22 Mission Patch... Read more

Calling all Pocket Watch Buffs
Since there is not a forum for pocket watches, several of us pocket watch “nuts” have put our heads together to see if, by focussing on the topic of pocket watches in one “catch all” thread, we might be able, through combined synergism, actually have a thread to call our own. My first pocket
Can Omega restore this PO to like-new condition?
Hi everyone, I've been eyeing the Planet Ocean for a few months now and am thinking about buying one second-hand pretty soon. With a 6.7-inch wrist (17 cm), I was initially leaning towards the 39.5 mm PO in black. However, I recently came across someone in my area selling a 2201.50. The watch is 42 mm with a 48 mm lug-to-lug, and from what I've seen, it seems to wear quite well on a wrist my size. The first generation is definitely more toolish-looking compared to the 39.5 mm third... Read more

Silver Snoopy strap to bracelet
Back to the 3861 bracelet. I’ve been wearing the Snoopy on the AT sailcloth strap with deployant clasp for the past 6 months. It is a great alternative to and way more comfortable than the OEM blue tang buckle and strap. But, I never gave the metal bracelet a fair chance. The 3861 bracelet changes the whole watch. BTW, the Bergeron 7825 Spring Bar tweezers are excellent once you get the hang of it. No scratches. Now, time to celebrate.

Dial Authenticity Check - ref 135.011
Hello all at the Omega forums - first post so nice to meet you all. I love Omegas, specifically those from pre-1970 (although I’d love one of the Bond modern seamaster 300m professional if they weren’t so large - 42mm seems a bit bulky for me). Can someone please help with an authenticity

Opinions about a watch in Japan
Hi. Im currently in Tokyo, first of all a lot of the watches i saw seem to be way overpriced, right now im looking at a watch here. I really like this style of hour markers. The case is a bit polished and has a bit of damage near the crown and some dinks. And misses one spring bar. Sorry for the
Omega 30T2 hands
Does anyone know until what year Omega produced this type of hands for the 30T2 models? I believe they are called “plume” hands. Believe Omega used them before, too, but I’d like to know approximately until what year they were used on the 30T2 models. Thanks in advance.
