Harrasment
How do I report someone harassing me and saying they're going to come after me? They bought something on Saturday, i couldn't ship it until Tuesday, which i did but I didn't see they're many messages on many of my listings until the mail was picked up, saying they caught me they're going to get me, now they are going to have my address and are completely flipping out over a 20$ pokemon card they bought on a Saturday of a holiday weekend... Made an account on mercari today just to purchase something I really wanted but for some reason the seller blocked me? Tracking Issue - Funds Won't Release?
Wondering if anyone has had this happen before. I've had an order stuck in purgatory for about a week now and am not sure what to do. I sold an item to what looks like a fresh Mercari account. Sent it out, but the tracking on Mercari's end is incorrect. If I pull the tracking up on the USPS website it shows delivered. However, on Mercari's end it is showing additional scans after delivery. So, the order hasn't been marked complete to move it forward into rating.
Never paying the listed price
after about a year break i’ve started selling again, i don’t think a single sale ive made has been for the listed price. i notice that if i don’t accept offers, my listings will rot there even if they’re already really good deals on the the items im selling. i need the money right now, going through some personal stuff, but jeez no buyer on this app is capable of ever just paying the listed price anymore. 😭 and don’t even get me started on the lowball offers that aren’t even a fraction of the item’s worth.
Perfume on Mercari
I see sellers selling some fakes - like a bottle of perfume that looks real being sold in a size the brand has never made. Yet the seller has hundreds of good reviews. Or I see a seller selling a perfume I want - looks real at a steep discount. If I ask a clarifying question they don’t respond. And again a seller with hundreds of good reviews. Why & how? Can’t Contact Seller on JP
Hopefully I put the right flare here! I downloaded mercari Japan for a figure but I wanted more information and saw that mercari JP themselves stated that you can comment under seller’s listings. I looked for a hot minute on desktop and on mobile but I don’t have the option. Has anyone found a way around this? Also, would anyone be willing to comment on my behalf? Mercari overcharging shipping
I have been erroneously overcharged (it will shoot up 20/30$ if the box was too big for example) for incorrect shipping before but only when it’s off a pound or two. This is physically impossible. It was a literal 4 lb box of legos in original box, not a large set - I am shocked where 60 pounds is coming from … can’t think of any LEGO box that is 60 pounds. They took the entirety of the money from my sale. Has anyone successfully disputed these successfully when you use Mercari shipping?
Mercari JP long delivery time
i know it’s still not the estimated delivery date, but it feels weird to me that it’s been delivering for more than 6 days? Is this normal or is something going on? Mercari charged me $13.90 for a non-HAZMAT label on a perfume bundle. How do I fix this?
Edit: I contacted the buyer and we agreed to cancel the buyer created fragrance bundle and then I recreated a new bundle listing with self shipping. Buyer repurchased from new listing and I was able to use Pirateship to purchase a real hazmat label and insure the package for the full amount. It seems from researching for this "auto label when buyer bundles" non hazmat fragrance craziness - that Mercari only pays up to $200 for claims?????
Is this normal?
I had bought a figure a while ago. Five days had passed with no shipment or any updates from the seller, so I messaged them to see when they'd ship. They messaged back apologizing for the delay and noting that they'd ship as soon as possible. I never fuss when it comes to these things because I know things happen and everyone has lives, so I let them know that it wasn't a problem. Now ten days go by, honestly I sorta forgot about it by then, and the seller messaged me that the figure never arrived for them.
