The Best & Worst Peptides (Ranked)

Peptides are everywhere, so let’s rank them. Only one is in S tier. Semaglutide, aka ozempic, works for weight loss by activating GLP-1 receptors, which makes you less hungry. But! You will lose muscle if you don’t lift weights and eat enough protein, and nausea and diarrhea are quite common. People who are already lean shouldn’t use it to get shredded in my opinion but It is safe for overweight people when prescribed by a doctor. In the right context: A tier. Tirzepitide. Same idea, except it activates 2 receptors, which makes you even less hungry and causes even more weight loss. A tier. Retatrutide activates 3 receptors which causes even more weight loss but it isn’t FDA approved yet so, B tier for now. BPC-157 (“the wolverine peptide”) claims to heal injuries. With BPC, there was 50% more blood vessel formation in legs with an injury, but… that was in rats. And it’s only been studied in … 30 humans. Ever. The anecdotes are strong, but most injuries heal on their own so it’s hard to know if it’s the BPC that’s working. Until we get more science and quality control, low C-tier. For anti-aging, Epitalon and MOTS-c have mechanisms for longevity but they’ve only actually been shown to extend lifespan in flies, mice and rats. No reliable human studies. And sourcing is sketchy. F tier. NAD+ is the most popular longevity “peptide”, but it’s not actually a peptide, it’s a co-enzyme. The human science is really weak anyway. D tier. The last one isn’t technically a peptide either, but it is in S tier. It makes you look fitter, healthier, it can heal injuries, and help you live longer... exercise.
