    Painting Cloth on a Bandana

I need some advice and I’m sure as sure that someone already did it. So I want to freehand paint a skull on the Bandana of my Kasrkin Trooper but I’m not sure how to blend this with the cloth. Fabrics are my Arch Enemy anyway. I’m thinking of actually using pure white and glazing with black/grey until it looks normal, but I’m sure there is a better way 🙏 Also thinking about just using a decal Skull from the Cadian Transfer Sheet. Thank god Warhammer has skulls in all sizes. submitted by /u/Ghostcore17 [link] [comments]

    Living Dead Girl Practice Bust

Quick practice sketch. I enjoyed playing with another limited palette, and generally staying loose and free. Is she a spooky zombie girl or just lit by weird lighting? Or maybe just a stylized illustration? Idk you decide. Also the transparent orange i used ended up being suuuuper glossy, but whatever. Its just practice. submitted by /u/MonkaMiniatures [link] [comments]

KDM Ritika w/ custom base WIP

I feel like I’m about 85% done with this one. I have clean up to do, finish the weapon, spider, and lanterns. I’m really happy with how the base came out - I modeled it myself out of clay - and she is removable to still be tabletop playable. Would love any last minute ideas to push her to the final step. (I’m afraid of OSL-ing the weapons flame onto the tree 😬) submitted by /u/digital_rat79 [link] [comments]

Proud and glorious Standard bearer of the Empire

The Statue of morr with its Wings were part of the commanders of the Empire Box from Games Workshop. I just mounted it on the arm with the Lance to gain more height for the Banner. I painted the Banner freehandly on plain drawing Cardboard and glued it on the model later on. After that I rolled it around a pen or toothpick and folded it, to get this wavy effect. The Pistole holds the Banner in Position.😉 submitted by /u/Forwayn-01 [link] [comments]

Skara, the Frost Queen of the Blood Tribes

This is my second model from the Blood Tribes collection by Heroes Infinite and it was a really fun and challenging project. I don't have much experience painting female figures or fantasy models in general, so it's been a great new experience to learn about organic forms. I have been following the official renders as my guiding light in my paint schemes, changing only the things I really prefer some other way, like the rusty surfaces on the axe. I've got a few more planned in this style.
