I like to think these are display quality models but several people have told me they are tabletop+ how can i can push them further?
Some confusion with my last post. I was not trying to fish for compliments just worded it weird and english is not my first language I don't have bases on them because I like to batch paint entire armies at the end of my painting projects For reference the world eaters at the end are what I would consider my tabletop+ to be submitted by /u/LargeMoist69 [link] [comments]
It happened to me
It finally happened. Always seeing these great deals posts and I thought I'd never get that lucky. But my husband and I bought all this admech for $850 from depop. I've been painting for a decade and he played the game a few weeks ago and wanted to get into playing. I only had like 800pts of orks painted and then a shit ton of random models from different armies from 40k and AOS cause I paint to collect and display. Looks like I'm gonna be painting an army for him.
What to do when your opponent gotchas themself?
Last week I played my chaos knights against world eaters. On my turn he was a little iffy on the vehicle shooting rules, asking if I can do shoot with my knights in combat, into another combat, etc. which is odd considering last time we played he said he brought this army to tournaments. I just assumed it was just due to the defiler being relatively new as a powerful unit and not having faced knights much with it (even if his doubles partner also plays chaos knights. Idk I assumed tournament players knew the rules better?)
Tech Custodes
According to the lore, Custodes are generally more knowledgeable in many fields than the average citizen of the Imperium, and even more so than Space Marines, who tend to focus primarily on warfare. But how much do Custodes actually know about medicine, technology, and the natural sciences in general? I imagine their relationship with technology is quite different from that of the Tech-Priests of Mars. submitted by /u/Ok-Quantity-9337 [link] [comments]
