Hey all - I'm looking to interview founders on how they gained their first users. I'd hope for any publicity from said interviews will spur both attention for your site and useful tips for me If interested, please comment your SaaS and how much MRR you currently produce. I'd love to see it! Thank you! PSA\ this is NOT soliciting or designed for lead gen, and is not meant to be market research / funneling. Looking for a serious co-founder in India 🇮🇳
Hey everyone, I'm a software developer with a business idea that I genuinely want to turn into a real business. I can handle the technical side, but I'm looking for someone who is good at marketing, user acquisition, and figuring out how to get real users for a product. I'm looking for someone who can take ownership of the growth side, experiment with different strategies, and actually execute rather than just discuss ideas.
[HAPPY] MY SAAS HIT $10K IN MRR TODAY AND IM ON TOP OF THE WORLD!!!!!
I've been building this product for the last 6 months, and today I had the best day in terms of revenue. It closed my monthly recurring revenue at $10,000, and I'm very happy because today I get to look back and see that all those sleepless nights were worth it. Dreaming whether I'll be able to reach this milestone was definitely worth it.
Building a SaaS tool for a problem I deal with every day in distribution
I work at an industrial parts distributor, and I kept seeing the same problem every day. A customer sends a part number. Someone checks stock, looks up the cost, digs through old quotes to see what we charged that customer last time, and checks whether the margin makes sense. If a discount is needed, a manager has to approve it. It sounds simple, but multiply that by dozens of quotes a day, and it adds up fast. A lot of the process also depends on people remembering things that aren't documented anywhere.
Opus 5.5 + Blender won in motion design. Three.js didn't match the quality needed
We don't pay for motion designers anymore The cinematic hook is done with seedance 2.5 in the spirit of those quirky AI influencers trend Then the motion design itself I tried to use Three.js as some people recommended but it couldn't model the asana and clickup screens in a high resolution (no idea why) So I asked Opus to move back to Blender and make it in 1080p All those small diagonal 3d tilts of the screen adds to the dynamic feeling compared to showing flat screens. The small details make a difference.
Stripe alternatives if you need to accept payments in more markets?
I keep seeing Stripe as the default answer, but I’m starting to think it depends a lot on where your business/customers actually are. I’m comparing Stripe, PayPal, Airwallex and Whop right now. My main concern is ending up on somethinn that works fine at first, then realizing later that certain countries, local payment methods or payouts aren’t supported the way I need. For anyone selling across multiple markets, what did you end up using?
Startup Infra
Hey people, Curious what everyone here is using. Are you going with Vercel, Supabase, Render, AWS, your own VPS or something else? Has managing the infrastructure been a headache at all or has it been pretty straightforward? How much are you paying for your setup, and do you think it's worth the cost? Also curious if you'd choose the same setup again.. submitted by /u/taitran00 [link] [comments]
