I have no idea how to think of and approve ideas (I will not promote)
I'm relatively new to the scene, making only 1 startup that I'm still maintaining that is focused on a more freemium track. Looking to go a bit beyond, I tried checking for any avenues that have already paid products that are either too expensive or have their user base looking for an alternative. And, from what I've largely seen, these avenues are close to none.
My boss ghosted me and all of our still paying subscribers, I will not promote
I’ve worked for this children’s clothing subscription as the only employee for 2 and a half years. The company crowd funded and then I think the founder got funds from his other ventures. The founder lives abroad in Morocco/london and I’ve never met him IRL, problems started with getting paid up to a month late or my insurance getting cancelled because he didn’t pay the employer premiums. But my boss, I haven’t heard from him since August 12th, and it is now October 12th.
[I will not promote] Where to find GPU compute rentals program for early-stage startups?
Hi, so I am developing this product, and it needs bigger GPU than the one I have. It also needs a bigger vram than the one I have. The product has a landing page, and I am interested to know of any programs I can apply to either for reduction in price or for providing some limited GPU compute for such early-stage startups's needs. How have you reduced the adoption cost of a developer tool? I will not promote
I’m building in the developer-tools space, and I’m learning that making a tool easy to try can be as important as building the feature itself. For founders who’ve launched devtools, what made the biggest difference in getting developers to try one in a real workflow? A working example or demo they could run quickly? A lightweight integration that doesn’t require replacing existing tools? A free pilot or open-source option? Hands-on onboarding with a few design partners? Something else?
B2B sales ideas - I will not promote
We're a startup selling technical software into a conservative industry. The buyer pool is small (no more than a couple of thousand people in our first, home country), the price point is high, sales cycles are usually long, and buyers mostly stick with vendors they already know. Despite these challenges, we have received a lot of positive feedback for the significant value we can bring to our initial ICPs.
Solid idea, have experience being the solo engineer building similar successful products for other startups, between 3 to 9 months to get it to market, however, possible contractual issues from previous employer. What to do? I will not promote
So, I have a good idea for a SaaS, I know I'd be first to market with it, and based on a somewhat similar product I have seen before, this is certain to be a profitable endeavor.
