Have I been using the wrong track condition setting this whole time?
Hi everyone! I’ve been playing ACC for a while and have been struggling to improve my lap times. Recently, I noticed in other people’s gameplay videos that their track condition was set to “Optimum”. For the past year or so, I’ve always been using “Green” without really thinking about it. Is “Optimum” the standard setting that most people use? After switching to Optimum, I managed to shave more than a second off my lap time after just 2–3 laps.
Aluminium rig
Hey, I’m considering investing in a aluminium rig to replace my old trophy seat. I’m currently looking at this one: TR120S V2 RACING SIMULATOR WITH SEAT SLIDER KIT Any suggestions on other profiles or is this one good enough? Going to play Forza Horizon 2 on PC through Azimuth? Adjust the brightness setting!
The game comes with a default brightness value of 60 for some reason. It looks a bit washed out compared to all other games in the series, dark time/weather looks noticeably greyish, but people tend to ignore the setting and just play it like that. Lowering it to 50 basically makes it look like what it should in terms of contrast, black levels, and saturation. submitted by /u/Markie_98 [link] [comments]

TRACK BUILDER TOOL dev update #2 | Virtual Karting
I’m excited to share the second update on the Track Builder tool for Virtual Karting. What it can do now: Smooth spline tracks with independent control of the left border, the center and the right border, so each side can be crisp or round; Ground and Height editing, with banking, smooth elevation changes and tracks up to 20 m wide; Multi-select, straighten, and undo/redo for the last 50 actions; Closed loops, with collision generated automatically; Barriers and painted side lines that are added automatically;
Make Forza 2 look even better, 120FPS HDR
A few tips to make the game look even better. Install the Forza 2 options mod. Open the .ini file which you have placed in Forza/data/bin Scroll to the graphics section Set ExtraSupersampling=1 and SmoothSunShadows=1 This will give slightly clearer liveries and make the shadows update in real time rather than in little jumps. Then the things that make a much bigger difference! I have a Nvidia card. I think these options are available on AMD cards but I am not sure of the feature names. Firstly goto the Nvidia app.

Best 8040 rig for a 186cm/6"1' driver with a Moza R12 and handbrake/shifter setup? Budget roughly £1000/$1300 give or take
Hi everyone, Looking to finally upgrade to a 8040 aluminium rig from my Next Level Racing Wheel Stand LITE 2.0. I'm starting to gather ideas and narrow down my options in preparation for the Black Friday sales. My total budget is roughly £1000+- / $1300+- (including a seat). I'd like to ask for some advice on the following: I am 186cm (6'1") tall. I need a rig big enough to be comfortable in for longer sessions. Or do all rigs accommodate all heights? I am running a Moza R12v2. I want zero flex or movement.

This means that every FOMO cars and events throughout the 20 updates the game got during his lifespan will finally be permanent, ready to be completed at 100%.
