Do your thrift stores sell knives?

Most of the ones I go to do not. I only know one that occasionally has pocket knives. A few have kitchen knives behind the counter. Most are junk or overpriced but I got all these German Henckles Twin knives for $10. The higher end ones not the single twin ones made in China and India. When I saw what this brand and ones like Wusthof cost at places like Williams Sonoma I always keep an eye out for quality cutlery at a bargain price. submitted by /u/Downtown_Teaching163 [link] [comments]

When your first Vinted purchase looks like this

I finally received my first order from Vinted but the shock horror I had seeing this packaging made me wonder if I had been scammed! Luckily the dress I ordered was intact inside but I had so much anxiety opening this up. For Vinted, this wasn't exactly the cheapest purchase but it was a bargain. I sent them a message about the packaging—I think it was polite enough? I think I'll leave a 3 or 4 star review though because really, this shouldn't be okay. submitted by /u/Appropriate_Web6207 [link] [comments]

What do you guys use to print your labels?

I’ve recently started selling on eBay more frequently and it’s pretty overwhelming. I’ve just been bringing my orders to my local post office and having them print labels but I can’t help but feel really bad as my number of orders keep increasing. I now have 28 orders to ship out by Thursday, and the stress of bringing 28 orders to the post office for someone to scan is killing me! With that being said, are there any cheap options in terms of potentially getting my own label printer/paper?

Poverty flipping making a few hundred a month, trying to scale it up

Flipping is my only source of income but I'm really low on income and hoping to build up savings again. I lost my job a long time ago, and had trouble finding another job. When my bank account balance got real low, I got into flipping just two months ago as an emergency job, selling a mix of things at home and locally sourced items for free-cheap. Better that than to avoid falling into debt and negative balance.

Package refused by mailman saying it needs a Hazmat label???

I've been shipping jewelry USPS for several years and have never had this problem. I shipped a necklace out last week in a plain black bubble mailer that had not be used before as usual and got it returned by the mail person with postit note saying I needed to fill a Hazmat form out or it would be held for 30 days at the Greensboro airport?????? I looked at the listing and shipping label and it doesn't say anything about me accidentally labeling or listing this with any hazardous materials that I can see unless I'm missing something

    [WTS] Nike/Jordan/Adidas/Crocs/Converse/Fugazi – Off-White, Travis Scott, Yeezy & more – US 9–11.5 – DS/Used/Custom – $75–$670 shipped

Selling almost my entire collection before moving. A couple of years ago my feet got bigger, and these all no longer fit. They’ve mostly been sitting since then, so I’d rather get them to someone who will wear them before the move. All bought direct from drops/retailers, GOAT, or StockX except green and pink crocs. Receipts available.

    Always a lowballer

Sorry, had a bad day and this showed up when I was checking my account, and needed to vent. Listed for $45, she lowballed $18 and I accepted because I wanted to get rid of it and wasn't making ANY sales the entire week. I should've known better. The jeans are NOT going for half on Amazon because 1) Levi's are going for $50-70 in this style, and 2) I checked and that colorway on Amazon is 'currently unavailable' so I don't know where she's getting this info. Fingers crossed the order gets completed soon since it's the last day.

    Can’t Contact Seller on JP

Hopefully I put the right flare here! I downloaded mercari Japan for a figure but I wanted more information and saw that mercari JP themselves stated that you can comment under seller’s listings. I looked for a hot minute on desktop and on mobile but I don’t have the option. Has anyone found a way around this? Also, would anyone be willing to comment on my behalf? Mercari overcharging shipping

I have been erroneously overcharged (it will shoot up 20/30$ if the box was too big for example) for incorrect shipping before but only when it’s off a pound or two. This is physically impossible. It was a literal 4 lb box of legos in original box, not a large set - I am shocked where 60 pounds is coming from … can’t think of any LEGO box that is 60 pounds. They took the entirety of the money from my sale. Has anyone successfully disputed these successfully when you use Mercari shipping?

    Whats going on with depop?

Items are being delivered but arent showing as delivered on the selling page, random fees are being refunded, sold items are still being shown as available, ai bot is removing posts that follow the guidelines...those are just to name a few of what ive been seeing recently and experienced myself. Anyone have any idea what could be going on? Should i/we just switch to another selling platform? submitted by /u/HippieDabippie [link] [comments]

Listing items appears to effect overall sales

I might be wrong but it seems to me that my overall sales are only good when I am consistently listing new items. I am a fairly small hobby seller focused on model trains. When I am consistently adding stuff it seems like more of my items, new & old, sell better than when I am not adding as frequently. Has anyone else noticed that? submitted by /u/Jazzlike-Style13 [link] [comments]
