No, Your cats on the clothes are not cute!
Sorry, but someone has to say it. I'm scrolling through Vinted and every third listing has a cat lying on the clothes. On the jumper, in the coat, tail hanging out of a sleeve. Your cat is probably lovely. But I'm not buying a cat, I'm buying a coat. And now I'm staring at the photo wondering how much fur is in there, because it's definitely not coming out in one wash. It also doesn't look clean. Cats lick themselves, walk through their litter, and sleep wherever they want, and you're putting that on the thing you're trying to sell me?
Is "surveillance" pricing a thing?
I'm double checking some things on an item before buying and twice now the price has gone up a few dollars. The first time it was 5 and just now it was 1 more. The item isn't cheap either. At first I thought okay cheeky seller but then 1 dollar? Could this be an eBay thing or is it a seller trying to take advantage of a situation? submitted by /u/nevertoohigh [link] [comments]

Experienced Chairish Sellers - What shipping method are you using?
I’ve been selling on Chairish for almost two months using the option to have Chairish pay for the shipping label while I handle packaging, and I’ve noticed that none of the UPS shipping labels are appropriate for fragile items. Chairish support assures me any package DIM overages will be handled by them, but im still on the hook for any potential damages unless I use their drop & go method. I’m still skeptical that UPS is able to accurately package antique porcelain, artwork, or earthenware sculptures the way they should be.
What Would You Do?
So I bought this playpen from someone on Vinted and apparently they weren’t able to fit it all into one box so they sent me a separate one outside of Vinted’s shipping... Would you guys offer to pay for the shipping? She didn’t explicitly ask but why else would she tell me the price? I don’t really feel comfortable doing it outside of the app, plus If I wanted to pay that price I would have bought one brand new. I feel bad that seller paid $44 for shipping but I also didn’t ask them to do that.
How to list and calculate shipping on this set of chairs? Also how to ship this
Thank you in advance Hoping to get some advice some experienced sellers on how to list and calculate shipping on this set of chairs? They can fold up like a directors chair. Not sure what is the best course of action? I have never sold anything this big, or delicate before. Want to make sure the potential buyer receives the chairs not damaged. -do I ship out both chairs in one big box, or one chair per box? -do I ship on a pallet or regular ground (Fedex/Canada Post/UPS) in boxes is fine? -how do I calculate the shipping cost when listing,
Can someone explain if these listings are scams or not?
I keep seeing listings for beautiful blankets and rugs that are around this price range. Most of the listings say “from my online boutique” and none of the sellers have a profile pic or any reviews. Seems like it could be a brushing scam or something? I almost bought 2 listings like this but something in my gut is telling me it won’t be worth the hassle… please lmk if anyone has experience with purchasing listings like what i’m describing! submitted by /u/Bastetkittycat [link] [comments]

New to buying on eBay
I’m very new to buying on eBay, from what I have seen on here I understand it is very difficult to sell on eBay(Because of buyers). Am I wrong to get a bad vibe from this dude? Is this just a seller that’s tired of all the BS? I mean I understand getting frustrated but dang dude. I guess my biggest question is can a seller make it a living hell for me when buying an item? I know a buyer can be a royal pain with returns/refund. Just don’t know about the buyer side. I apologize if this is a dumb question

One star given from buyer and no way to respond
I'm new to selling on Poshmark-well fairly new and I received a one star on an item with the comment that it arrived dirty and with stains. This is simply not true. I tried to send a message to the buyer but they've blocked me from messaging them. I did get paid for the item, but I'd like to figure out what happened to the item in transit-if anything. Has anyone had this happen? I guess the good thing is I did get paid, but still, I'm a little irked. submitted by /u/superfizzlibrarian [link] [comments]
AI is ruining Vinted and I hate it
More and more AI-generated photos are showing up on my Vinted homepage... I’m so sick of it. People seem to think they’ll sell better by presenting an idealized image of the garment; it’s misleading and lazy. Usually, these are accounts packed with tons of items. I try to report them, but there are just too many. Is it really that hard for Vinted to put a stop to this? In most cases, it’s so obvious! Rant over. submitted by /u/Frankenzak [link] [comments]
