Buyer left me on read after I pointed out a small flaw on an item they bought. Should I ship or cancel/wait?
Hey guys, need a bit of advice on what to do here. So I sold a bucket hat earlier today. Before packing it up, I double checked it and noticed a tiny mark. Tbh the mark was already pretty visible in the listing photos, but I wanted to be nice and double check with the buyer just to make sure they saw it. I messaged them about it and they replied asking for a picture. I sent a clear photo over and… they just left me on read. 💀 Now I’m kind of stuck.
Is this a scam?
Hey Vinted people! I'm trying to sell an expensive shark tower fan that I bought over the summer. There's a buyer that says they're are interested and will buy at full price, but only if they see the full serial number, claiming that many online are fakes. I've never had an interaction like this before. They don't believe me when I've show them a pic of the fan registered on shark's website. It's quite bizarre. The profile has no reviews and isn't selling anything so I got quite suspicious.

How do you go about blocking people? I have about 7k sold items and roughly 50-60 blocked users now. I've gotten to a point where I block anyone that offers me 50% or less or my asking price (absolutely none of my listings have offers enabled) anyone that demands something extra after a purchase like 1 day shipping for free or extra items. Anyone that makes a false "item not as described" case to force a return. And anyone that messages 3 plus times in a single hour with the same exact question like the world revolves around them.
Sellers with 3+ year old phones claiming they are brand new sealed
Was looking at an S23 Ultra for my wife and on eBay there's some sellers with loads of good ratings, but I'm curious cuz they are claiming their s23 ultras are brand new factory sealed, and I'm curious as to how there's sellers with brand new unopened phones that are 3 years old. Is this fairly normal or should I be suspicious?

New seller needing advice
Hello, everyone. This is my first time posting here. I just want some advice on how to actually sell stuff. I feel like I'm doing it wrong or something because of how many people say that they sell so much in their first week on vinted. I'm currently selling this dress for 5 dollars, which I think is pretty cheap, lots of people are favoriting it but no one's buying it. Do I need to lower the price even more? Why even bother posting?
I made the mistake of not checking reviews and ordered a cute wallet from this member. They have a lot on their page and declined my offer for the wallet almost immediately, but I wanted it so bad, I paid for asking anyway (about $4 more). Then…crickets. They didn’t send it so I got the automatic refund. When checking their account, I learn they’ve NEVER sent an order. Having the worst buyer experience from a seller
I’m having the worst experience I’ve ever had on eBay and I’ve been buying on their platform for more than two decades. The seller was very responsive at the beginning and I spent nearly $300 with them over a month ago and my stuff still hasn’t been shipped. They have put on “seller is away” 3x since then and won’t answer my messages. This should be illegal! They made a label after over 2 weeks of my purchase but that was now 2 weeks ago and they still haven’t handed it off to USPS.
Perfume on Mercari
I see sellers selling some fakes - like a bottle of perfume that looks real being sold in a size the brand has never made. Yet the seller has hundreds of good reviews. Or I see a seller selling a perfume I want - looks real at a steep discount. If I ask a clarifying question they don’t respond. And again a seller with hundreds of good reviews. Why & how? Buyer says package postage due
It finally happened to me. I’ve sold literally hundreds of those brown eBay mailers ESE for $1.36 postage with no problems (other than the occasional not delivered ones). Today however a buyer said that he received one with postage due of $7. I’ve always kept the weight and thickness within the limit. Has this happened to anyone else and is there any recourse that I have?
