Calculating Date Difference in Days Between 2 Dates
Hello. I had a rule that calculated the number of days difference between two given dates. One was my last 6-daydate for the rule. The other is current date. I need to determine if it has been 6 days between my 6-daydate and today's date to announce a reminder message on my Sonos Arc. This rule used HUB datetime variables I set and used the variable TimeDiff operator in the rule. It used to return/give me the difference in seconds, which I then used variable math to convert seconds to days and get a day number integer returned.
Change Name of ‘On a Day’ Condition to ‘On a Date’
If both options for the 'On a Day' Condition are DATES, it should be called 'On a Date': 'On a Day' always confuses me because I think it's the day of week condition. 'Between two dates' isn't called 'Between two days'... 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic

'm experiencing a recurring issue with the native HomeKit integration on my Hubitat C-7. Approximately every four to five days, all devices exposed through Hubitat become unresponsive in Apple Home. Trouble Reconnecting Hubitat HK Brige to Apple HK
After setting up a new Hubitat C-8 Pro unit in a newly constructed apartment adjacent to my daughters home I was able to set up multiple switches/dimmers and locks and integrate it to Apple Home Kit no problem. The only issue was week signals from the existing Verizon router. I added a new mesh tp-Link DECO router system, and piggy back it to the existing Verizon router connected to the Verizon ONT. I removed the old Wi-Fi login and reestablish a new wi-fi login on the DECO mesh system. Everyth
[C8P 2.5.2] %device% isn’t set or cleared when rule called by “Run Actions”
I'm trying to detect how a rule is called. If it is "triggered" by a defined trigger, the "%device%" value gets set properly. However, if the device is triggered directly from any rule via "Run Actions" or from the rule's "Run Actions" button, that value remains at whatever it was previously set to. This makes it impossible to detect when a rule is directly "run"--I was hoping/expecting that variable would at least be emptied out if a Run Actions caused the rule to execute (and, ideally, it would contain the actual rule name). Thoughts?
Failing to pair narwal flow vacuum
I was able to pair it with matter on the apple home and google home (but it complained about unverified device). But when i then try to pair it to hubitat it says "Pairing failed @ checking DAC chain revocation status with code 172 (Internal error)" Is there a way to force pairing for cases like that? 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic
[BETA] Apple TV Integration (native, no bridge)
Control your Apple TVs from Hubitat: turn them on and off from scenes, rules and dashboards, with live power state, and nothing extra to run. No Homebridge, no Home Assistant, no Raspberry Pi, no Python. Now in beta: v1.0.0 Why Hubitat’s AirPlay integration is great for sending audio and announcements to your Apple devices.
