C64 Hardware Simulator Isn’t (Just) For Playing Around
If you want to play old Commodore games, there are C-64 emulators available for just about any platform– but most of them are so high level, they’re really meant for just that: playing games. [antirez] has a different goal with his c64-hw-sim project— it’s a lower-level emulation that simulates every chip and every connection on an ASSY 250407 motherboard, and all the chips on it, too. Ever wondered what happens when a specific chip is missin
Dometic CFX3 WiFi integration for Home Assistant – local control without cloud

No cloud service and no external account are required. Features Local communication over WiFi Current temperature monitoring Configurable target temperature Cooling on/off control Compressor status Battery voltage AC or DC power-source status Battery-protection setting: LOW, MED or HIGH Automatic
AoI Bluetooth SIG Mesh: local control of Bluetooth Mesh lights and plugs, no hub or cloud
Hi all I’ve released AoI Bluetooth SIG Mesh, a custom integration that controls Bluetooth SIG Mesh lights and plugs directly from Home Assistant. Everything runs locally: no vendor hub, no cloud, no account. GitHub: GitHub - pratikthorat/ha-aoi-sig-mesh: Local Bluetooth SIG Mesh lights and plugs for Home Assistant, no cloud or hub · GitHub Why Many cheap smart bulbs and plugs (a lot of Tuya “Bluetooth mesh” devices among them) speak the standard Bluetooth SIG Mesh protocol, but usually need the vendor’s app, a gateway, or the cloud.

I gave my coffee table feelings. Mostly bad ones. Meet Greg
Ones again the Weather-Gods seems to push a Cloud over this Phenomenon , anyways, it’s “only” partial here However i might start to look for another “spot” if this have to end up in the ” ones in the lifetime list ”
Calculating Date Difference in Days Between 2 Dates
Hello. I had a rule that calculated the number of days difference between two given dates. One was my last 6-daydate for the rule. The other is current date. I need to determine if it has been 6 days between my 6-daydate and today's date to announce a reminder message on my Sonos Arc. This rule used HUB datetime variables I set and used the variable TimeDiff operator in the rule. It used to return/give me the difference in seconds, which I then used variable math to convert seconds to days and get a day number integer returned.
Plugwise USB/Stick beta
There’s no backup function. Also not really needed because the Stick will remember the network and restore it from memory when you set up the integration in a new Home Assistant.

Wiszb-137 not working fully on Zigbee2MQTT
Hi all, Hopefully this message gets seen. I’m very brand new to all this. I have started to get some more home security. I got these Frient vibration sensors (wiszb-137) which I wanted to connect to my Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT. It allows me to connect them, but have very minimal settings that can be configured, including sensitivity levels 1-15, which are not there. After some googling, I came across this page Develco WISZB-137 control via MQTT | Zigbee2MQTT. It says you don’t get any of

Change Name of ‘On a Day’ Condition to ‘On a Date’
If both options for the 'On a Day' Condition are DATES, it should be called 'On a Date': 'On a Day' always confuses me because I think it's the day of week condition. 'Between two dates' isn't called 'Between two days'... 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic
The cheap Zigbee ceiling radar (MS01 / zbeacon) has a hidden serial port with all its radar settings
I put six cheap battery Zigbee 24 GHz ceiling radars around the house. They’re sold as Z3-24G under a few brand names. Zigbee2MQTT sees them as model MS01, vendor zbeacon, and Home Assistant calls them “Motion sensor (SNZB-03) by SONOFF”. You get occupied/clear and battery, and nothing else: no sensitivity, no range, no hold time. Out of the box they were wrong both ways. One fired over and over with nobody there, and another kept dropping someone sitting still right under it. So I opened o
How to use PZEM004T Energy Monitor with esphome
The arduino R4 shows D0 and D1 as being TX/RX, but I’ve tried with other pins with no success. Should I expect the TX LED of the pzem flash to blink when not connected, or nothing until connection is established?

Recurring HomeKit Bridge Failure – C-7, Firmware 2.5.2.135 – Possible mDNS/Bonjour Issue
'm experiencing a recurring issue with the native HomeKit integration on my Hubitat C-7. Approximately every four to five days, all devices exposed through Hubitat become unresponsive in Apple Home. I've performed some troubleshooting and collected diagnostic information that may help identify the problem. System information Hub: Hubitat Elevation C-7 Platform version: 2.5.2.135 Connection: Wired Ethernet Local IP address: 192.168.50.193 HomeKit integration: Native Hubitat HomeKit Bridge Apple Home hub: Apple HomePod Failure history
CTC GSi Heat pump modbus connection
That google sheet doc is awesome and it annoys me that I stumbled across this after converting those PDF to excel myself… But I just wanted to give you a heads up that the linked document you referenced is no longer available on CTCs homepage, but they have a new version instead (to include newer model I guess?), that version also includes a new column “Name” for the functions.
Stiebel Eltron WPE-I 07 H 400 Modbus Configuration
Hi. A year ago, I had a Stiebel Eltron WPE-I 07 H 400 brine-to-water heat pump with underfloor heating installed in my house. Additionally, I received the ISG from Stiebel Eltron with firmware v12.2.3. I can also read data via Modbus on my test installation of HA (I prefer not to use my active HA instance for testing). Now to my problem: I would like to adjust the temperatures via HA in the web interface and later also through a thermostat. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the relevant informatio

Added support Tuya Local for (Action) LSC Smart Connect RGB Christmas Lights / Multi color Smart Lights
I added Tuya Local support for LSC Smart Connect RGB Christmas Lights / Multi color Smart Lights (from Action). These lights still weren’t in Tuya Local. This is my first contribution. I couldn’t figure out how to add a new device in the original Local Tuya github because of stricts rules or something. It adds a drop-down-menu for scenes and a drop-down-menu for the colors/colours/kleur You can grab it from here: PS: The picture
Script Trace: Error in describing condition: can’t access property “includes”, e is undefined
I’m seeing the following error in the trace output for a script: Error in describing condition: can’t access property “includes”, e is undefined The trace identifies the condition as if/condition/0, but reports result: true. The script appears to execute correctly. I noticed a similar message in an earlier topic but that was for a trigger and was to do with legacy code. In my case I have used the UI to create the conditions in the script. The warning originally appeared for three conditions i

My take on a home dashboard running on the Lenovo ThinkSmart View and managing multiple devices running Fully Kiosk
So all in all, pretty pleased with my TSVs. I soon found that AirPlaying audio (radio) from Music Assistant to a TSV (running AirReceiver) only plays for about 10 minutes, then the audio stops, although metadata for each track being played continues to be displayed and updated on the TSV. However, stop it and it is no longer available as an AirPlay receiver, until turning AirPlay off and on again in AirReceiver.
Raspberry Pi 3 model B+
Hi, I’m following this guide for setting up Home Assistant on Raspberry Pi: Raspberry Pi - Home Assistant It says under suggested hardware, that I’ll need a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5. I have a Raspberry Pi 3 model B+. Is it not possible to set up Home Assistant on this? // Jonas

[Custom card] 26 animated appliance & IT cards - a simple smart plug is enough
Hi everyone, I’ve been building a set of Lovelace cards for household appliances, with animated illustrations that follow the real state of the device: the washer drum tumbles, the oven element glows, the TV “boots” like a real screen, the range hood pulls in steam, the server rack LEDs blink with the load, the laptop shows a live screen, and so on. 26 cards so far: washer, dryer, dishwasher, water heater, oven, microwave, fridge, pellet stove, pool pump, 3D printer, chest and drawer freezers,
All things matter
You know the saying where it tells that what you don’t understand looks like magic. Matter/Thread is something like that. Unless you read/study all the documentation of course, but then you would be a Pro and I’m not. A couple of days ago two thirds of my Matter devices went offline and stayed that way. I tried a few things, pushed the buttons on the devices, restarted Home Assistant, the Matter Server and the Thread border router but to no avail. I run HA core in docker, Python Matter Server
