Buying my first Kayali fragrances
I'm buying Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar and Lovefest Burning Cherry in the travel sizes. My question to you all is which travel size is functionally better? I love the cute mini bottle, especially since it is a spray, but if that somehow affects the sprayer or getting all the fragrance out, I don't want that. Do you have a preference? submitted by /u/sootsprite01 [link] [comments]
My small but growing collection 🌸🍦✨💐🌿🪵
Phlur Vanilla Skin travel size Phlur Father Figure 1.7 oz OUAI Melrose Place 1.7 oz Rare Beauty layering balm Floral Peony Blossom Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede 3.4 oz Kayali Vanilla 28 travel size Kayali Fleur Majesty Rose Royale travel size Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet 3.4 oz As you can see, I adore a grandma-adjacent (I say this with love) floral scent lol especially if it has a peony note. However, I do enjoy vanilla scents on occasion. Phlur Father Figure is the current outlier but I adore it. It’s very clean and perfect for work.
TJ Maxx finds
I noticed the retired NEST Sunkissed Hibiscus 50ml (for $29), should I go for it? If I end up not liking it could I sell it or was this a discontinued scent b/c no one wants it...? Also wow Flowerbomb travel size for $16 and I'm definitely curious about the marshmallow blush but that someone opened and then returned it is a little concerning?
Unexpected favorites?
do you have any perfumes that you cant stop wearing, despite them not being your "usual" taste? for me, i love any heavy gourmand or sickly sweet scents, but for some reason i have fell in love with Blanche Bete and This is Her! i have to be in a certain mood to wear them, but i have noticed reaching for them way more than i expected to, and even more than my sweet designers. i also didnt LOVE both of these when i first got them, but wearing them is extremely comforting. what is going on?
Just giving this friend some props
I’d worn this before and thought it was fine. But it’s unseasonably warm so I’m trying to go back into my collection and wear things I won’t be able to wear for a while. And I’ve been so impressed with this one today. So much better than I remember it being. And I put it on about 6 hours ago and, while it’s a skin scent now, it’s still there and smells wonderful. submitted by /u/speckledham [link] [comments]
Mugler Angel EDT vs EDP🪽
Hello everyone! I love an earthy, herbal fragrance, but I am also a child of the early 2000s & teen of the 2010s, so naturally, I love a sweet, sexy gourmand too. When I saw the notes of Mugler’s Angel, I was immediately intrigued. Visions of a girl in a Juicy track suit with lips glazed in Lancôme Juicy Tubes at an Ashtanga yoga class danced in my head. 🪷 I got a sample of the EDT and was IN LOVE.
Byredo Havana Wonka is heavenly but how likely do they put out smaller sizes?
Just discovered this scent yesterday in-store and it was amazing. I'm still smelling the scent card today and obsessing over it however its $465 for 70 mL.l which is quite a large bottle. Can anyone who's familiar with byredo and their collections, provide any information or if this will turn into a travel size or generally just something more reasonable? submitted by /u/loiwhat [link] [comments]
Has anyone tried the EOS Cozy Comfort lotion?
I don’t live in the US so I don’t have ways of smelling it before purchasing, sadly. I do have the Vanilla Cashmere one and I like that. How do you think it compares with Cozy Comfort? Does it smell like any popular vanilla scents? I found reviews on Tiktok but they’re mostly “obsessed” with it. I’m also curious about the Toasted Marshmallow one. If you’ve also smelled it please let me know if you liked it. submitted by /u/docjiii [link] [comments]
Regretting this purchase 😪 dior purple glow
I was walking around when I saw the dior addict glow perfumes which looked super cute so I tried a couple sprays of each. The pink one was too fruity. The peach one smelled like rotten something and the purple one, in store, smelled perfect. It smelled powdery floral which I loved and thought would be great for a fresh scent at work. I got the small size 1.7oz. After purchase at he, it smells like the worst sweetest artificial candy scent I've ever smelled.

Cruelty free recs?
I’m trying to switch to all cruelty free products and while I’m going to use the ones I have I’m not going to purchase any new scents that currently test( so stupid they do this in 2026) . I really like fruity florals and aquatics . I don’t love gourmands . Some of my favorites are my devotion , Burberry brit(2010), Ralph, dolce and JPG La Belle Garden. Price around $150 or less. Riiffs Fleurie violette - smells like vanilla powder from matiere premiere
Was searching for a good vanilla powder clone from long time recently ordered a decant of this and I won't say this one was the best clone but definitely the best performing one in what I tried. Opens up sharp and screechy rose and vanilla note which some may like others may not , for me I love vanilla powder DNA so I liked it. It smells like cookies very powdery and dry vanilla it has got some mineralic notes too in drydown. This is a projection bomb could even smell on my clothes the other day.
I will stop being addicted to Nest the moment TJ Maxx stops selling full bottles for $25 a pop
So basically never. I will never stop. I ran through an Indigo and a Golden Nectar in a month and had to grab another. Then ran through a Balanese Coconut. Then I find a Vanilla Bourbon... so of course I buy it. +the currents on my bottom/most used shelf ♡ submitted by /u/Ecstatic_Guava3041 [link] [comments]
What perfume are you glad you tried before buying?
ganymede is one of those perfumes i see getting talked about a lot, so i start thinking about getting a full bottle, i expect it to smell a certain way from everything i read and hear about it, but i stop by a mall and test it on my skin first, the opening catches me off guard because it smells quite different from what i expect, i let it sit for a while and the dry down changes again, which makes me realize how different a perfume can feel from the way i imagine it, i like the scent more after some time,
