Converting My Ebike From A 3X To A 1X Chainring

It’s an old throttle-only mountain bike with a 7 gear cassette on the rear hub motor. I pulled the crank today and ordered a 42T round narrow-wide chain ring that will fit my spider. At first it will be a 1 speed, but I’ll eventually install the proper 7 speed chain, a new derailler and shifter

This E-Bike Proves Less Can Be More | Cikada Urban Cruise Review

👉 Check current pricing: https://ebrdeals.com/cikada-cruise 👉 Full written review: https://electricbikereport.com/cikada-urban-cruise-review/ The Cicada Urban Cruise takes a simple approach to city riding: lightweight design, single-speed belt drive, torque sensing, and very little to think about once you get moving. In this review, we test its speed, throttle, range, hill climbing, braking, ride quality, and overall usability to see whether the “less is more” approach really works. At roughly 46.5 lb, the Urban Cruise is easy to maneuver, carry, and store. Its belt drive and torque sensor create a smooth, refined pedal feel, while its narrow tires and rigid frame give it sharp, responsive handling around town. We recorded 35.6 miles in our low-power range test and 22.3 miles on max assist. Hill climbing is not its strongest area, and we’d like to see stronger braking performance, but overall, it’s a practical, low-maintenance city e-bike that’s easy to enjoy. #ebike #electricbike #cicada #urbancruise #cityebike #commuterebike #beltdrive #lightweightebike #ebikereview #electricbikereport

Is a cargo bike right for me?

Hello! I’m currently considering getting a e-bike, as a second car for our family would be overkill. I never had an e-bike before, but have a motorcycle licence. Wife can ride a bike, but she is light weight and I have concerns if she can support the load she would be carrying. I’ve been reading a lot of reviews but thought I’d reach out here to hear more real life feedback on whether we should get one and which models or types to consider. Here is the important info: - Live in Vancouver. Some hills, some high traffic roads, some bike lanes.
