Why Do I Feel Homesick in My Own Home?
Every time I return to Kenya, it feels a bit like coming home. Which is weird—I’m an American who lives in Burundi. But my family lived in Kenya years ago, and we still visit frequently. We walk out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, and I remember my fender bender in airport parking. We Read more... During the Battle of Chickamauga in 1863, a Union commander mistakenly pulled a division out of its defensive line only minutes before Confederates assaulted that very spot. We’re excited to be partnering with Denver Catholic Schools
Hey, the Archdiocese of Denver really likes us! Right back at you, Denver. ‘OUTober’ is a Jesuit scandal
I don’t like painting Jesuits with a broad brush (there are some amazing Jesuit priests!), but what is up with Jesuit higher education? Students at Fordham, Georgetown, Gonzaga. Loyola Chicago, Loyola Marymount, Marquette, and the University of San Francisco are celebrating “OUTober,” flaunting sexual attitudes that are disordered, often immoral, and scandalous to students drawn into perverted thoughts and activities. (Here’s a link to Georgetown’s agenda.) This isn’t Catholic education. It’s corruption.
