Proud and glorious Standard bearer of the Empire
The Statue of morr with its Wings were part of the commanders of the Empire Box from Games Workshop. I just mounted it on the arm with the Lance to gain more height for the Banner. I painted the Banner freehandly on plain drawing Cardboard and glued it on the model later on. After that I rolled it around a pen or toothpick and folded it, to get this wavy effect. The Pistole holds the Banner in Position.😉 submitted by /u/Forwayn-01 [link] [comments]
MTG Reality Fracture’s Alchemy cards are so good they deserved to be in the main set
Wizards of the Coast has begun to reveal Reality Fracture: Alchemy cards, the digital-only Magic: The Gathering format's final swan song before it is officially consigned to the scrap heap. And the more I see, the more I wish these were 'real' card designs, part of the set proper. We could've had an Urza-style Jace saga land, and a blue-white Quintorious? You can't see me, but imagine that I'm shaking my fist at the sky.
What to do when your opponent gotchas themself?
Last week I played my chaos knights against world eaters. On my turn he was a little iffy on the vehicle shooting rules, asking if I can do shoot with my knights in combat, into another combat, etc. which is odd considering last time we played he said he brought this army to tournaments. I just assumed it was just due to the defiler being relatively new as a powerful unit and not having faced knights much with it (even if his doubles partner also plays chaos knights. Idk I assumed tournament players knew the rules better?)
Skara, the Frost Queen of the Blood Tribes
This is my second model from the Blood Tribes collection by Heroes Infinite and it was a really fun and challenging project. I don't have much experience painting female figures or fantasy models in general, so it's been a great new experience to learn about organic forms. I have been following the official renders as my guiding light in my paint schemes, changing only the things I really prefer some other way, like the rusty surfaces on the axe. I've got a few more planned in this style.
These Tag Team Pokemon cards are exploding in price - and they’re not even that rare
If you've got a binder full of rare Pokémon cards from the Sun & Moon era, now could be the time to re-evaluate what you're holding onto. Demand has been steadily growing for an overlooked class of cards: Tag Team Pokémon, characterful full art holo rares featuring two or more monsters fighting side by side, printed in 2019.
Tech Custodes
According to the lore, Custodes are generally more knowledgeable in many fields than the average citizen of the Imperium, and even more so than Space Marines, who tend to focus primarily on warfare. But how much do Custodes actually know about medicine, technology, and the natural sciences in general? I imagine their relationship with technology is quite different from that of the Tech-Priests of Mars. submitted by /u/Ok-Quantity-9337 [link] [comments]
My third ever miniature
Im so proud how it turned out. This is the 3rd miniature Ive ever painted. Ive only painted two Stormcast Eternals before. Took me about 25 hours to finish it but was a lot of fun. What do you think? Any advice on how I could improve it for the next time? I have 2 more RatOgors to paint (different color schemes, etc) I have an insta account if u want to check my progress!! submitted by /u/NapalmArchive [link] [comments]
Initial Plans
So far, what I have decided is primary color will be Maroon, including shoulder trim. The inside of the shoulder will be colored to designate Wing/Company. For other skull/Aquilla details, I am still deciding on Silver, Gold, or White. I will probably use the Dark Angels emblem but a different color, still up in the air but leaning towards either yellow/gold or green. The cloaks/cloth I am debating between dark green or black.

Warhammer 40K: Can A Marine Army Have Too Many Terminators?
Goatboy here and today I want to talk about a 40K Space Marine Terminator list. This one has lots of bodies, and just maybe, lots of ways to win! I want to just go with a basic Space Marine list and I know there are other Terminator Options out there but will just do regular […] Warhammer 40K: Can A Marine Army Have Too Many Terminators? first appeared on Bell of Lost Souls
Hypothetical question
(Image probably irrelavent) What would the possible consequences and losses be for the imperium, chaos, tyranids, and other factions consist of if something like the necrons managed to close or destroy the warp permanently? I already know this would make any kind of warp travel impossible and most star systems will become stranded an inaccessible. Heres where it could be different. For the chaps gods, they almost entirely rely on the warp for daemons to enter realspace. Without that, what would happen?
Critical Role’s new canon Exandria series stars Matt Mercer, Marisha Ray, and a bunch of VTubers
Critical Role just announced a new Daggerheart series, and it takes us back to Exandria. Matt Mercer will DM Shattered Legends, a new, canon mini-series. While fellow founder Marisha Ray also stars, the rest of the cast are more unexpected. Shattered Legends is made in collaboration with holo-live, a Japan-based virtual talent group. That means the rest of the players are all VTubers.

Thinking of listing some of my work on eBay
NB - I’m not looking to sell here, this is purely just to gauge whether I qualify as a “professionally painted miniature” Brothers, I’m thinking of listing some minis on eBay. If the response is good, I might make it a little side-project. I ain’t gonna ask the classic “how much is XYZ worth”, but I would like to know whether you think I’ve got the chops to be selling on eBay as a professional painter? submitted by /u/HeavyMetalHobbyist [link] [comments]

2 Color Schemes in 1 Army?
Okay, once again my color scheme ADD has kicked in by watching two historically accurate* films back to back (300 and 300 Rise of an Empire). I was thinking that I could take my spearmen and paint then up in brass and red like the Spartans. And paint my Sword and Shield troops and vehicles like the Athenians Would it be dumb to have 2 different colored cloaks in the army? What are your thoughts? *in comparison to the other movies I saw over the weekend: Gods of Egypt and Godzilla (1954).
