Death Company
Succumbing to the Black Rage, it is said those have touched the Lethe/Oblivion River and lost themselves. They bear blue markings symbolizing the Rivers of the Underworld, namely the Lethe they have drank from and the Styx which they walk down, approaching the realm of Hades. They are watched over by the Chaplain Marcus (counts-as Lemartes).
Old Hammer 40K - Awesome Forge World Models I Miss
Goatboy here and the older editions for Warhammer 40k were dominated by Forge World at lot of the time. These are the old school minis I miss the most. The old Forge World models were amazong. They were usually set up with weird rules. Most of the time in old editions before the Design Sutdio […] Old Hammer 40K – Awesome Forge World Models I Miss first appeared on Bell of Lost Souls
Warhammer 40K: 1998’s Original Dark Eldar Army
We are pulling out the old-school 1998 Dark Eldar from Warhammer 40K 3rd Edition – way before “Drukhari” showed up. No one truly escapes the Dark City – or these 90’s hair-dos! In the Early Days of Commorragh There were undoubtedly some random very early Eldar models from Rogue Trader that could be considered Corsairs […] Warhammer 40K: 1998’s Original Dark Eldar Army first appeared on Bell of Lost Souls
I think one of my favorite bits of (unintentional) comedy in 40K is when two sides are fighting and a third one unexpectedly shows up
Like let’s say it’s Sisters of Battle vs Orks and they’re both really dug in but then a chaos warband or something shows up and there’s just a collective “Oh, God damn it,” from everyone, not cuz the unexpected side is superior but just because it’s something they have to divert attention to. It happens quite a lot in Ciaphas Cain’s novels but I also really like when it happens in campaign books like Operation Imperator with the Leagues of Votaan or the Nachmund Gauntlet books. submitted by /u/Bryguy150 [link] [comments]
I like to think these are display quality models but several people have told me they are tabletop+ how can i can push them further?
Some confusion with my last post. I was not trying to fish for compliments just worded it weird and english is not my first language I don't have bases on them because I like to batch paint entire armies at the end of my painting projects For reference the world eaters at the end are what I would consider my tabletop+ to be submitted by /u/LargeMoist69 [link] [comments]
It happened to me
It finally happened. Always seeing these great deals posts and I thought I'd never get that lucky. But my husband and I bought all this admech for $850 from depop. I've been painting for a decade and he played the game a few weeks ago and wanted to get into playing. I only had like 800pts of orks painted and then a shit ton of random models from different armies from 40k and AOS cause I paint to collect and display. Looks like I'm gonna be painting an army for him.

Easier to assemble kits for physically and or mentally disabled
Hey guys I started building Warhammer about seven years ago and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with it. My daughter Serena age 11. Loves to build with duplos. We kind of did that together at the table but now she’s getting more interested in Warhammer. She is very low functioning autistic. She has seizures and most recently due to a complication with her anti-seizure medication she has gotten very sick. It’s called it’s called Stephen Johnson syndrome. If your parents do not look it up, it is a hell that I would not wish on my own worst enemy.

Playtesting Angelic Inheritors
I have just had my first game using Angelic Inheritors and I am a lot more impressed than I expected to be. My initial impression of AI was that it was over-costed and was a downgrade over its 10th edition incarnation. But actually rerolling 1s to Hit and Wound is pretty strong in a post-OOM world with the new Marine profile. I just played my first 1000 point game against Necrons and tabled them Turn 3. My list is below:
