Recorded during Westminster’s presidential inauguration events, this panel brings together Ligon Duncan, Joel Kim, Kevin Kang, and Valdeci Da Silva Santos, with David Garner moderating, to discuss the future of theological education in the United States, South Korea, and Brazil. Does God Punish Children for Their Parents' Sins? Exodus 20 Explained
Exodus 20:5 is one of those verses people get stuck on. God calls himself jealous and says he punishes the children for the sin of the fathers, to the third and fourth generation. Read cold, it sounds like God holds a grudge across a family line. Dr. Daniel Kim walks me through it. His starting point is the setting: these are the Ten Commandments, Israel has just come out of Egypt, and God is forming a nation whose allegiance belongs to him alone. The first four commandments are vertical, between the people and God, and the one about honoring parents is the first that's horizontal. Modern Apostles and Prophets? Examining the New Apostolic Reformation | Brandon Kimber
The New Apostolic Reformation has become increasingly influential in churches, worship music, conferences, and even politics—but what exactly is it, and how can Christians recognize its teachings? In this episode, I’m joined by filmmaker Brandon Kimber, director and editor of the American Gospel films, to discuss the newest installment, American Gospel: Spirit & Fire, an 18-episode documentary series examining the New Apostolic Reformation. We talk about the defining beliefs of the NAR, including modern-day apostles and prophets, claims of new revelation, the five-fold ministry, prosperity theology, and the movement’s understanding of spiritual authority. We also discuss why many leaders associated with these teachings reject the NAR label, and how Christians can evaluate the movement based on its actual theology and practices rather than labels alone. We also dig into one of the biggest questions listeners had after my previous episode: What exactly is a “NAR song”? Brandon explains how NAR theology can find its way into worship music through Bethel Music and other ministries, and we discuss how Christians and church leaders can think carefully and biblically about the songs they sing. Finally, we address the growing intersection between NAR leaders and conservative politics, the danger of compromising gospel clarity for political influence, and why faithfulness to the biblical gospel must remain central. If you’ve been wondering what the NAR is, how to identify it, or why Spirit & Fire was created, this conversation will help you understand the movement and the theological concerns surrounding it. Particularly insightful Ai answer to an enduring theological question
At times I pose questions in Ai to test it’s accuracy and reliability, or see if I am missing any points of understanding regarding this or that theological topic. I found this answer particularly insightful and thought I would share it. Not interested in controversy or debate; however, constructive feedback from both sides is welcome.

Their Conversion is Their Redemption
Matthew Henry (Commentary, Isaiah 1): The reformation of a people will be the redemption of them and their converts, for sin is the worst captivity, the worst slavery, and the great and eternal redemption is that by which Israel is redeemed from all his iniquities (Ps. 130:8), and the blessed
Chance: The Modern Myth – Creation or Chaos with R.C. Sproul
Did life emerge randomly out of chaos? Many critics of the Bible’s teaching about creation appeal to chance as the source of the universe. In this message, R.C. Grace and Grace: The One Covenant and the Logic of Hebrews' Warning | Marcus A. Mininger
Hebrews presents the old and new covenants as grace and grace: the same house, the same people, and the same promise. Yet the old covenant was always preparatory, as shadow gave way to substance and promise to fulfillment. In his second address on Hebrews, Marcus Mininger traces that organic development and shows why the unity of the one covenant of grace makes the letter's warning so urgent. He closes where Hebrews closes, calling believers to persevere within the covenant and to rest in the sole sufficiency of Christ. Dr. Marcus A. Mininger is professor of New Testament at Mid-America Reformed Seminary. His research focuses on Paul and the General Epistles, including the warning passages in Hebrews. Delivered at the 2026 Reformed Forum Theology Conference, "The Covenant of Grace: One Savior, One People, One Purpose," at Lakeland Church in Gurnee, Illinois, on September 26, 2026.
