The Bible is clear: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all
The enemy is incredibly deceptive, often convincing people that darkness is just "misunderstood beauty" or "secret knowledge" waiting to be embraced. But the Bible is clear: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. We are called to forsake spiritual darkness, not flirt with it. #SpiritualWarfare #Discernment #WalkInTheLight #BiblicalTruth #ChristianFaith

Baylor, Worse Than Berkeley? Inside Their War on Christianity
What happens when a university that claims to stand for Christianity makes it nearly impossible to host an event defending the truth of the Christian faith? And could it possibly involve extortion? That's exactly what happened to us earlier this week (for the first time in 20 years of college visits!), and Frank is bringing the receipts! What started as a frustrating encounter with Baylor's administration has exposed some troubling questions about what's really being taught at this "Christian" university. From administrative roadblocks to unbiblical professors and courses, Frank reveals why there's much more at stake than just a cancelled event. In many ways, Baylor is waging a war on Christianity. You'll learn: -- What six obstacles did Baylor's administration put in the way of Frank's visit? -- What similar problems did Ratio Christi President Corey Miller encounter with Baylor? -- How is Baylor violating its own policies on human sexuality? -- What unbiblical courses and degree programs are being offered at Baylor and who is teaching them? -- Why is cultural Marxism so destructive to communities? -- Why did Baylor recently return a grant of $700,000? -- Why did progressive "Christian" Professor Greg Garrett wrongly criticize J.K. Rowling on X? -- Why is it sometimes more dangerous to send your kids to a compromised Christian school than a secular university? While this topic is difficult to address, it's too important to ignore, and Frank is just getting started! Don't miss the next episode as he addresses objections related to academic freedom, reveals how Baylor is violating their own core values on inclusion and diversity, explains what the Bible actually teaches on these issues, and MUCH more. Looking for resources to deal with Dan Mcllellan
Hello saints, I have a friend in work who is interested in the Bible, but unfortunately is a watcher of Dan Mcllellan. When I was a Roman Catholic, theories of Dan Mcllellan, Bart Erhman and others were taking as fact, we had a priest-lecturer in seminary who believed Jesus was not portrayed
Van Til’s Influence on Biblical Counseling
Jared Poulton joins Camden Bucey to discuss *Van Til’s Counseling Movement: A Critical Analysis of Jay Adams and Biblical Counseling*. They trace how Cornelius Van Til’s presuppositional apologetics supplied key theological instincts for Jay Adams and the modern biblical counseling movement, including the God-relatedness of every human problem, dependence upon divine revelation, and confidence in Scripture’s sufficiency for pastoral ministry. The conversation also examines tensions within contemporary biblical counseling. Camden and Jared consider the antithesis, common grace, the relation of the book of nature to the book of Scripture, and the danger of either rejecting all extra-biblical knowledge or baptizing secular methods without sufficient theological scrutiny. Throughout, they argue that faithful counseling should serve the church’s disciple-making mission and bring every claim about human life under the authoritative framework of God’s Word. Christian Music
Hey Everyone, I’m always looking for new Christian songs. The problem is as both a musician and someone with a love of theology I feel like it is hard to find a song with both good lyrics and good music. Thought I’d throw this out on the board curious if you had any suggestions on some songs or bands to check out.
Who in the Seminary EDU space should I contact about ReformedWiki.org?
Back in August 2023, I began an effort to build a Wikipedia-like site (uses the same software MediaWiki) to build a community-edited wiki but for Reformed Christianity known as ReformedWiki.org There is a lot of possibilities for what can be done with this, and I have begun getting a lot more

πνευματικαῖς in Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16
EPers only, please. Why is the Greek word πνευματικαῖς (spiritual) added to the words "psalms, hymns, and songs", which appear often in the superscriptions of the psalter (all of them appearing together in the superscriptions to 2 psalms)? What is Paul adding to the argument by supplying this adjective? I have heard a non-EP explanation and I would now like to know what those who practice Exclusive Psalmody say. Thanks in advance!

Westminster Seminary 2026 Fall Chapel — Dr. Vern Poythress
Join Westminster Theological Seminary for chapel worship on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Dr. Vern Poythress preaches "Practical Spiritual Warfare" from Ephesians 6:10-20. Order of Worship Call to Worship – Isaiah 12:4-5 Hymn – A Mighty Fortress Confession of Sin Assurance of Forgiveness – 1 John 1:9 Hymn – Speak, O Lord Scripture Reading – Matthew 8:28-34 Prayer Sermon – "Practical Spiritual Warfare" | Dr. Vern Poythress (Ephesians 6:10-20) Hymn – Soldiers of Christ, Arise Benediction "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak." – Ephesians 6:10-20 (ESV) Learn more about Westminster Theological Seminary at wts.edu. #WTSChapel #WestminsterSeminary #Chapel #ReformedWorship

Was Jesus Leaving or Entering Jericho When He Healed Bartimaeus?
The relevant passages in the synoptic Gospels are Mt. 20:29, Mk. 10:46, and Lk. 18:35. I stand unsatisfied with the following reconciliations: Calvin: Bartimaeus indeed cried out when Jesus drew near Jericho, but he wasn’t heard because of the crowd. To keep the account clear, Luke bypassed
