  • [WTS] 1/1 Silver Giveaway!! & Batch of 1oz Hand-Poured Silver Bricks!

PROOF Hey everyone! After plenty of trial and error, failed pours, and remelts, I've finally finished a first batch of shiny bricks! There is still a lot I'd like to improve on, but I thought I'd offer these first few up. Each brick is individually poured, pressed, stamped, and hand-finished. All have tiny serial numbers on the top. Take a look at the texture on the back also! SN 001 is a bit more unique, and most are on the heavy side ;) To celebrate the first batch, I'm also giving away a one-of-one brick!

I'm not a fan of the slab, but I'll keep Nero in his plastic prison for the time being. I picked up this coin a few months ago. Pedigree: Leu Numismatic, auction 12, lot 1062 (2022) From the collection of Dipl.-Ing. Adrian Lang, ex Hirsch 279, 8 February 2012, 2310 and Aufhäuser 13, 7-8 October 1997, 304, and very likely from the Boscoreale Hoard of 1895. submitted by /u/AppropriateFennel929 [link] [comments]

Lil backstory & 1st time buyer

Told an uncle way back in the mid 90s I was gonna stack gold. Long story short he said it was the worst idea ever; I valued his opinion and never bought a grain. This uncle passed last week which got me thinking of picking up some kinda 1/4oz in remembrance. Been looking at coins/bullion online & found a highly reviewed LCS, likely where I'll buy from. Guess my question is are there any recommendations of what to look for or get? submitted by /u/Selfishin [link] [comments]

    Found these gold coins

About a year ago my grand mother passed awag and I was going through some boxes and I found these gold coins. Are they worth anything? Or just their weight in gold? (Google is telling me about 4500 a piece but that’s just because of their weight. I also found a gold omega which was my great, great grandfather’s. Mostly excited about that. Not to sell, but to have. submitted by /u/Ndocds [link] [comments]

America Still Books Its GOLD At $42.22 An Ounce: Ronnie Stoeferle

The United States still carries its gold reserves at $42.22 an ounce. Ronnie Stoeferle of Incrementum puts the gap to market prices at about $1.1 trillion, and asks the obvious question: would you still value a house you bought in the 1970s at 1970s prices? He points to Italy in 2002 and South Africa in 2024 as countries that have revalued their gold, and calls it a silent recapitalisation of balance sheets.
