Less petrichor
Where rain falls more frequently, there will be less petrichor because the aromatic compounds won’t have enough time to accumulate. And heavy downpours—which are increasing as the planet warms—are too forceful to trap the tiny air bubbles required to launch the scent into the air. PDM Sample Kit review
I recently bought a PDM Sample kit for men and including the 2 free samples i got: Castley Pegasus Oajan Althair Layton Percival Haltane Carlisle Althair Exclusive 9 samples, 1.5mL each for 40€ so a good deal id say. Now i already have a bottle of castley, i love it its one of my favourite fragrances and in this lineup, probably the best fresh scent you can wear daily. But i wanted to give my opinion on the other scents too. Percival - this is ass, smells like a cheap 20€ fragrance or like adidas shower gel.
Regretting this purchase 😪 dior purple glow
I was walking around when I saw the dior addict glow perfumes which looked super cute so I tried a couple sprays of each. The pink one was too fruity. The peach one smelled like rotten something and the purple one, in store, smelled perfect. It smelled powdery floral which I loved and thought would be great for a fresh scent at work. I got the small size 1.7oz. After purchase at he, it smells like the worst sweetest artificial candy scent I've ever smelled.

From 70+ fragrances down to just 10: my one-year journey towards a curated collection
Hey everyone! I started this year with over 70 fragrances. For several years, my collection had always been somewhere in the 70–100 range. However, I eventually realized that I owned far more fragrances than I actually wore. With so many options, newer or better-performing purchases would often push the less impressive ones to the back of the drawer, and my actual rotation would end up consisting of just 5–10 fragrances anyway.

Cruelty free recs?
I’m trying to switch to all cruelty free products and while I’m going to use the ones I have I’m not going to purchase any new scents that currently test( so stupid they do this in 2026) . I really like fruity florals and aquatics . I don’t love gourmands . Some of my favorites are my devotion , Burberry brit(2010), Ralph, dolce and JPG La Belle Garden. Price around $150 or less. Here are some of the fragrances I've reached for lately. Posted from most worn to rarely worn but still appreciated. Running low on CH. I'm thinking to add Jo Malone Honeysuckle and Davana here but I'm also curious what fragrances the masses feel I would like! I'm also curious about niche perfumes but I'm a little basic (if you couldn't tell) so I'm not sure where to start. What do you think about my tray?
