2018 Model X rear alignment
I have a 2018 Model X that I have been getting reasonable tire wear on until recently (I now have nearly 80K miles). In March I replaced the four tires with the OEM tires (Pirelli scorpion zero) at a Firestone (I normally go to one Firestone or another because their prices are good and they are
How long until the 1st update
I’m in Tennessee. I ordered a MY premium AWD on October 12 in Quiksilver with black and white interior. I was initially given an estimate of 3-5 weeks. After reading some of the other posts on this board, the actual delivery varies wildly. When should I expect my first update to drop in the app? Is 3-5 weeks a realistic timeframe?

Following Debrecen and Irlbach-Straßkirchen, the site in northeastern China is the third plant in the company's new battery network. In future, the energy storage systems produced there will power the Neue Klasse models that BMW will manufacture in China for the local market.

SuperPanther: eTopas 600 at centre of European growth strategy
SuperPanther aims to rapidly scale up sales of its eTOPAS 600 in Europe. At the IAA Transportation, Frank Schulz, Head of European Sales, spoke with electrive about the first customer deployments, consumption figures, dual-CCS as a bridge to MCS, and the planned ramp-up to several hundred vehicles. His assessment of economic viability is particularly bold: he states that the electric truck is already more cost-effective than a diesel in terms of total cost of ownership (TCO).

Folks, Even though I’m a Tesla fan and happy to pay $5K for EAP, not many seems to be interested or can afford to stretch. Based on the forum survey’s nearly 1/3 is not purchasing EAP due to steep cost. Tesla has to listen to the customers to not only improve the “fit and finish”, poor customer
Windshield Wipers in Winter
Well... after the first snowstorm in my M3 I have come to find the wipers to be very inadequate. Most of the wiper blade was ineffective in making contact with the windshield and the wiper fluid mechanism works to clean 30-40% of my windshield at best. I had even cleaned them off before I started my drive home. Wish they had a wiper deicer built in similar to other vehicles. Anyone have thoughts or ideas on how to improve their performance?
Batteries NOT compatible according to Tesla Service 85KW S 2014
I installed an 85KWH used battery into my Tesla P85D 2014 and could not get the software to update. Tesla Service Center in Centennial Colorado said the battery is not compatible with the car. How is this possible? It is likely that the battery was pulled from a RWD car and put into my AWD. I have not seen anything online or in the Tesla service manual to suggest that this could be a problem. Does anyone have a similar experience or a solution?

Chinese Cars Are Now In Canada: What Happens Next? Freda Wang, Former Senior Executive at Mercedes-Benz (Canada and China)
Last week, Geely proudly announced that it was the first Chinese automaker to officially enter the Canadian market. BYD, Chery and others are right on their tail, ready to deliver their full range of products. So, now seems to be a good time to ask: How quickly will Chinese brands win market share in Canada. And will the Chinese succeed in using Canada as a staging area for entry into the US market? Joining us today is my former colleague from J.D.

Tesla Navigation
Hi all, is there a way to zoom in on the map when using navigation? When I'm on FSD or using navigation to a destination the screen is zoomed out to about the same distance as the moon. (Well maybe not quite that much but... ) If I zoom in manually it just bounces back after a few seconds. I'd like to be able to set the zoom on the screen when driving.
Superchargers in Australia
Following is a link where Tesla confirm they will go ahead with a Supercharger network in Australia. Let's hope Tesla have the same high priority geos as noted at the end of the article! Of course, they still need to get organised around a QLD delivery centre...... http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/08/21/tesla_plots_free_charge_stations_for_oz/
